Three charged with murder over Denaby Main death

The youngster was remanded in custody to appear at Doncaster Youth Court today (Monday).

Mr Appicella’s body was found inside a property on Craganour Place on December 15 after officers responded to calls of concerns for his welfare.

Shae Nicholson (19), of Lincoln Close, Denaby Main, and Martel Brown (23), of no fixed abode, have also been charged with murder.

It is believed that Mr Appicella had been involved in an altercation with a group of people on December 3 in an alleyway leading to Hickleton Street.

He died of head injuries, a postmortem found.

Three girls, also arrested on suspicion of his murder, have been released under investigation.
