Teenager charged with Clifton Park robberies

A TEENAGE boy has appeared in court accused of robbing five youngsters in Clifton Park.

The 16-year-old was charged on Tuesday (November 8) with five counts of robbery, attempted robbery, possession of cannabis and failure to comply with a drug treatment and detention order.

All the offences are said to have taken place in October 2016.

The boy appeared at Sheffield Youth Court yesterday where he denied all the offences.

He will remain in custody until December 7 when he will appear again at the same court.

The defendant cannot be identified for legal reasons.
