Teen gang rob 81-year-old woman in Tickhill

AN 81-year-old woman was robbed by a gang of teenagers as she walked by a village pond in Tickhill.

One of the youths grabbed the woman’s handbag before riding off on a bicycle near Tickhill duck pond.

The teenager was with two other boys and a girl riding bicycles around 2.45pm on Tuesday July 21.

The suspected robber is described as being a white male, around 5ft 2ins tall with blonde medium length hair, of skinny build. He is believed to be between 14 and 16-years-old, was wearing a white polo shirt and reportedly smoking at the time of the incident.

Police said he had an orange water bottle attached to his bicycle. The other teens are believed to be of similar age.

Eyewitnesses report seeing the same group throwing stones in the duck pond prior to the incident.
