Shop worker assaulted during robbery
A WOMAN was assaulted and threatened with a hammer by a man who entered an e-cigarette shop and demanded money.
The robber entered the eCloud electronic cigarette shop on Fitzwilliam Road, Eastwood, at 9.50am on Friday, 7 February.
The suspect, who was wearing dark clothing and a dark hat, demanded money and then assaulted the woman before being chased from the shop by a passer by.
The woman sustained minor injuries.
South Yorkshire Police are appealing for information.
