Rider seriously injured after 'medical episode' on trike

The 62-year-old man was on a Boom lowrider on Clayfield View, near the junction with Clayfield Avenue.

Police said there was a “minor collision” with a silver Vauxhall Corsa at about 2.45pm on Friday (15).

The trike rider was taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. These were said to be from the medical episode rather than the crash.

A passenger on the trike and the man driving the Corsa were not injured.
