Porsche stolen in Bradgate raid

BURGLARS stole computers and cash after breaking into a house before escaping in the owner’s Porsche.

They smashed a patio door at Psalters Lane, Bradgate, between 1am and 5am on today (4).

Among the items taken were two laptops worth £1,900, a £50 bag, £40 computer and £200 cash.

The culprits also took the keys to the £8,000 silver car.

Burglars also targeted a home in Treefield Close, Wingfield, on Tuesday between 7am and 2.30pm.

Two tablet computers worth £850 were taken. Attempts were made at nearby shops to use bank cards contained in a purse and wallet which were also stolen.

A police spokeswoman said: “Detectives are studying CCTV footage.”
