Police release e-fit of suspect in indecent exposure and lewd behaviour cases

POLICE investigating reports of indecent exposure and lewd behaviour have released an E-fit image of a suspect — and are exploring if there are any potential connections with previous incidents.

Concerned members of the public first reported a man was exposing himself and committing a lewd act in a wooded area near to Barker’s Park, in Kimberworth Park, at 1.30pm on Sunday, April 9.

Officers also received further reports of a similar nature at around 3pm the same day, with people reporting a man exposing himself while in the wooded area across from Barker’s Park which leads onto the fields near to Scholes Lane.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “Given the location and nature of the offences reported, we are exploring whether the latest reports are connected to previous incidents of indecent exposure reported in the Thorpe Hesley, Scholes and Kimberworth areas of the town.

“One of the individuals affected by the most recent incidents last month has helped to produce an e-fit image of a suspect we are keen to identify.

“Do you know this man?”
