Police probe damage to aeroplanes

YOBS broke into a hangar and caused hundreds of pounds of damage by climbing on planes.

Police believe three teenagers entered Netherthorpe Airfield, Thorpe Salvin, last Wednesday evening (3).

PC Gary Scott said: “Causing damage to aircraft is extremely serious, as even minor damage can seriously alter an aircraft’s flight capability and potentially causing it to malfunction whilst in flight.”
