Police discover cannabis plants and arrest man in Op Grow

POLICE found more than a hundred cannabis plants and arrested a man in part of a crackdown on drug production in Rotherham.

A spokesperson told the Advertiser that police officers had executed a warrant under f Operation Grow.

A total of 127 cannabis plants were found and seized from an address on Lillian Street.

They added they had arrested a 53-year-old man on the "suspicion of production of cannabis".

He remains in custody.
