Police appeal six months after man's car wash fall

DETECTIVES investigating a man’s fall from a car wash roof have appealed for witnesses — six months on.

The 30-year-old has been in hospital since January 25 and has only recently been able to communicate with officers.

He was allegedly assaulted at Mr Soap’s Hand Car Wash in Bramley. A 27-year-old man has been arrested and bailed.

Det Con Becky Straw said: “We appreciate that we are asking the public to remember something that happened many months ago, but the allegation of assault has only recently come to light.

“We believe that the hand car wash was open and, by all accounts, quite busy that morning and it’s on quite a busy road.

“I’d ask anyone that lives or travels through that area to cast their minds back. If you can think of anything that might help us with our enquiries, please do get in touch.”

Anyone with information should call 101 quoting incident 322 of January 25 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
