Pensioner dies in hospital after crash

A PENSIONER died after the car she was travelling in overturned in a crash.

The 70-year-old woman was a passenger in a blue Land Rover Discovery when it overturned on Ruddle Lane, Micklebring, at around 2.45pm on Saturday, February 6.

She was taken to hospital but died of her injuries on Wednesday.

A 48-year-old woman, who was driving the car, was also taken to hospital with minor injuries and has been discharged.

Police investigating the crash are asking for anyone with any information to get in touch.
