Pedestrian dies after collision in Ravenfield
A PEDESTRIAN died after being hit by a car in Ravenfield yesterday evening (Thursday).
The 42-year-old man was in the road at Common Lane at 8.15pm, police said.
A police spokeswoman said: “It is reported that a black Dacia Duster was in collision with a pedestrian who is believed to have been in the road near to the junction with Bramley Lane.
“Officers are appealing to anyone who saw the pedestrian’s movements prior to the collision or saw the car in the area before the collision is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 867 of March 14.”
