Man dies in M18 smash
A FATHER died and his son was injured in a crash on the M18 north of Hellaby.
The older man, believed to be 62, was pronounced dead at the scene after the two-vehicle crash on Friday evening.
He was driving a black Mitsubishi car north, which was reported to have hit the back of a blue and white stationary lorry in a line of traffic.

Hide AdThe car hit a barrier and travelled along an embankment before hitting some trees.
The man’s 22-year-old son, from Manchester, was a rear seat passenger and suffered a minor leg injury. He was taken to Sheffield’s Northern General Hospital.
