Man charged over armed robbery at East Dene shop
A MAN has appeared in court in connection with an armed robbery at the East Dene Convenience shop.
Gareth Troop (27), of Goldsmith Drive at Herringthorpe, was charged with attempted robbery, possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of a class C drug.
He appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on Friday, when he was remanded in custody in connection with the April 26 incident.
