Man arrested after biker suffers serious injuries in car meet crash
A MAN was arrested after a biker was seriously injured at a car meet in Catcliffe.
Emergency services were called to a report of a collision between a motorcycle and a Volkswagen Golf on Seldon Way at just after 8.30pm on Saturday.

Hide AdA police spokesperson said officers had found around 100 cars gathered for a "car meet" on the industrial estate.
The 35-year-old motorcyclist was found to have serious injuries and taken to the hospital where he remained today.
A man suspected to have been in the Golf was later arrested on suspicion of serious injury by dangerous driving.
"He remains in custody at this time and enquiries continue," said the spokesperson.

Hide AdPC Gary Richards, of the roads policing group, said: "This collision has led to a man ending up in hospital with serious injuries and we believe there were a number of people at the scene who were filming at the time, during what we suspect was an organised ‘car meet’.
“Whilst we carry out enquiries to understand what happened tonight, we would urge anyone who has any dashcam, mobile footage or any information that may help with the investigation to come forward and get in touch with us.
