Investigation after reports elderly woman injured in dog attack
POLICE are investigating an alleged dog attack which left an elderly woman with leg injuries.
The incident happened in High Greave Place, East Herringthorpe, at 2pm last Thursday and police the 67-year-old woman needed hospital treatment.
A spokeswoman said: “Officers detained the dog under the Dangerous Dogs Act and and are currently investigating the incident.”
