House wrecked by early hours fire in Dinnington

FIREFIGHTERS have released a dramatic photo of the damage caused by an early-hours house fire.

Four fire crews from Aston, Maltby, Rotherham and Birley Moor stations were called to a semi-detached house on fire during the early hours of Saturday morning on Eastern Close in Dinnington, Rotherham.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus searched the property for occupants but no-one was inside.

Crews used main jets to tackle the fire.

An investigation was underway to determine the cause of the fire this morning.
