"Gunshots" heard in Mexborough for second time in two days
POLICE were called to a Mexborough street after people living in the town said they heard gunshots for the second time in two days.
A resident of Victoria Road told the Advertiser that two shots were heard on the street at about 8pm on Thursday.
Police arrived on the scene and an area of the street cordoned off.
The resident said that a property has been boarded up.
Three men were arrested after gunshots were fired in the Frederick Street area of Mexborough on Wednesday evening.
It is not known whether the two incidents are linked.
