Gunmen hold up Rotherham bookie's

ROBBERS armed with a gun burst into a Rotherham bookmakers and snatched nearly £800.

Two men, one carrying a gun and both wearing dark clothing and black balaclavas, raided Coral Bookmakers on Oaks Lane, Kimberworth Park, around 1.40pm on Sunday afternoon.

The pair made demanded that staff open the safe and the tills before stealing £790 and making their escape.

Police are looking for the two white men. The first is described as being around 5ft 8ins and slim build, with the second man being shorter and also of a slim build. The handgun used is described as black with a 6 or 7-inch muzzle.
