Firebugs suspected of twin Rotherham attacks

FIREFIGHTERS are investigating two fires which may have been started deliberately in separate incidents last night.

One crew from Rotherham fire station found a sofa ablaze on Holmes Lane, The Holmes at about 10.10pm. The fire did not spread to nearby homes and the unit left about half an hour later.

Another engine from Aston fire station went to Manvers Road, Swallownest, where a skip had been set alight on a commercial property.
