Fire crews tackle three deliberate vehicle blazes over bank holiday weekend

TWO cars and a motorbike were targeted by arsonists over the bank holiday weekend.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 12.50am on Cambridge Street, Clifton on Saturday.

Firefighters from Rotherham station left the scene at 1.20am.

A car fire was reported on Scholes Lane, Scholes at 9.15pm. The blaze was believed to have been started deliberately.

A motorbike was then deliberately set on fire in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Crews from Aston Park attended the incident on Wordsworth Avenue, Dinnington, at 1.45am and came away at 2.10am.
