Eight months in jail for cannabis and weapons offences
Thomas Staniforth (29), of Fitzwilliam Avenue, Wath, appeared at Sheffield Crown Court last Friday (3) for sentencing after pleading guilty at an earlier hearing to the offences which occurred on May 31 last year.
Judge Peter Kelson said one of the two Rotherham houses had been found to have a “professional drugs set-up” and, at one address, Staniforth had bypassed the electricity supply.

The court heard Staniforth was of previous good character.
