Efit issued after attempted robbery

A 31-year-old man was followed by two men, punched and tripped to the floor as he walked home through Bradgate Park.

They demanded he empty his pockets but the victim, who suffered facial injuries, was able to escape to the Tesco Express on Wortley Road and raise the alarm.

It happened at 7pm on November 17 and police have appealed for witnesses or anyone who recognises the man in the efit to get in touch.
