Drug raid nets £4,000 cannabis haul

CANNABIS valued at £4,000 was seized by police in a raid on a house.

A total of 13 cannabis plants, as well as 40 seedlings and drug paraphernalia, were found when officers raided the property on Church Road, Denaby Main, on October 10.

Acting Sergeant Dave Cook said: “Drugs have an impact on the lives of residents and the local community and the execution of this warrant and recovery of drugs will hopefully assist in improving the quality of life for them.

“The information we receive from the public is vital to assist us in locating the properties and tackling the issue.

“I would continue to urge people to contact the police with any information or concerns they have in their area.”
