Driver arrested on cannabis suspicion
A DRIVER who narrowly missed colliding with a police car has been arrested on suspicion of being over the limit for cannabis.
The driver, who has not been named, failed to comply with a red light and nearly collided with a police car at the junction of Meadowbank Road and Kimberworth Road in Rotherham on Monday.
When he was stopped officers detected a smell of cannabis and a saliva sample proved positive.
The man was arrested and given police bail pending further tests.
