Crews tackle deliberate car and rubbish blazes overnight

Fire crews spent an hour-and-a-half tackling deliberate blazes after arsonists set a car and rubbish alight overnight.

Firefighters attended a deliberate car fire at 7.55pm on Woodfield Way, Balby, and left at 8.45pm.

Dearne firefighters were then called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 12.55am on Brampton Road, Wombwell, The crew came away at 1.15am.

Rotherham firefighters also attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 1.10am on Tennyson Road, Herringthorpe.

They left the scene at 1.33am.
