Crews tackle deliberate car and allotment fires overnight

FIREFIGHTERS spent two hours dealing with deliberate blazes after arsonists struck in the early hours of this morning.

Dearne firefighters were first called out to a deliberate car fire at 11.25pm on Doncaster Road, Darfield, coming away at 12.25am.

A crew from the same station attended a deliberate fire in an allotment half an hour later on Edward Road, Goldthorpe.

Firefighters left the scene at 1.55am.
