Crews battle rubbish and grass blazes

Crews were at Lodge Hill Drive for about an hour and the incident was recorded as accidental.

Colleagues were called to deliberate fires on grassland at Wombwell and trees and bushes at Highgate Lane, Goldthorpe, on Sunday.

Crews from Rotherham and Elm Lane stations tackled a deliberate rubbish fire at Roughwood Way, Kimberworth Park, on Saturday evening.

They also attended Tata Steel on Aldwarke Lane on Sunday morning to reports of smoke coming from the side of one of the industrial buildings.
