Commissioner to chair business crime meeting

SOUTH Yorkshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner is to hold a series of business crime events aimed at small and medium local business owners across the county.

Shaun Wright will host the first meeting at Rotherham Town Hall on Tuesday, October 22, and is keen to invite anyone who is a member of the Rotherham business community to go along and discuss some of the issues that they feel affect them.

The aim of the event is to ensure that business owners get a chance to have their say on what affects them and for Mr Wright to listen and address their concerns.

Representatives from South Yorkshire Police, The Business Crime Reduction Centre will also be on hand to offer help and advice on keeping businesses secure.

There will be further events in Barnsley in November and Doncaster and Sheffield in the New Year.
