Cars destroyed as firebugs strike
TWO cars were written off in less than half an hour after two suspected arson attacks in Wath.
A crew of firefighters dashed to a driveway on West Street to put out a Vauxhall Vectra saloon which had gone up in flames shortly before 4.30am on Saturday.

Hide AdJust half an hour later they were called back to the area as fire ripped through a Volkswagen Golf hatchback on nearby Ash Road.
A fire service spokesman said that both cars had been well alight when the crew had arrived on the scene and they had suffered “considerable damage.”
He said: “Both these incidents were recorded as deliberate and, as such, the police have been informed.”
