Cannabis and over £1,000 found in raids at two houses in Mexborough

Officers from Doncaster's Fortify Team executed a drugs warrant at a house in the Hirst Gate area last Thursday (January 16), where 1kg of cannabis was found.

A 23-year-old man was reported on summons in connection with possession of a controlled drug.

Two further arrests were made later that day, this time at a house in Wood Street.

A man (19) and a woman (18) were arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis and money laundering, after a quantity of cannabis and over £1,000 was found during a search.

Both have since been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
