Burglars swiped jewellery from woman's arm

THREE masked men threatened a couple and stole valuables after breaking into their home.

The female resident, in her 50s, was hurt when they forcibly removed jewellery from her arm.

A police spokesman said: “Three men with their faces covered are believed to have entered the property in North Road, East Dene, threatening the couple who live there.

“The couple are receiving support from police and enquiries are under way to identify those responsible.”

It happened at 9.30pm on Wednesday, March 23.
