Arsonists torch cars across the borough


FIREFIGHTERS dealt with three arson attacks across the area over the weekend.
A Vauxhall Zafira was set on fire on Staveley Street, Edlington, at around 10pm on Sunday.
Crews spent around half-an-hour at the scene.
A car was also torched on Church Street, Swinton, at around 10.30pm on Friday.

Hide AdA crew from Dearne also dealt with a tree and area of banking which had been set alight at at Old Moor Nature Reserve, Manvers, at around 2pm on Saturday.
Firefighters from Aston Park also dealt with an accidental rubbish fire on Wood Lane, Treeton, at around 1am on Monday.
