Arsonists target Earth Centre site
FIREFIGHTERS put out a blaze after arsonists struck at the site of the former Earth Centre in Denaby.
Fire crews from Edlington, Dearne, Maltby, Rotherham and Doncaster spent more than four hours tackling the fire in the unused accommodation block at the Doncaster Road site last night.
Work has just begun on transforming the site into a multi-million pound children’s centre.
The accomodation block is not part of the redevelopment site.
