Arrests after drug raids by Rotherham police

By lunchtime five people were in custody after six address were simultaneously raided by a team of officers brought together for the operation.

Tasking team members confirmed that stolen property and drugs had been seized after properties in Eastwood and Dalton were searched.

It comes less than a week after cannabis worth more than £500,000 was found in a disused restaurant on High Street in Rotherham town centre.
