Arrest after alleged rape of teenage girl in Eastwood
A 19-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested and bailed following an alleged rape of a teenage girl at playing fields in Eastwood.
The victim was with friends at the Eldon Road fields when the alleged incident happened at about 9pm last Thursday.
South Yorkshire Police issued a CCTV appeal for information on social media on Saturday.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police confirmed today: “A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
"He has been bailed as enquiries continue.”
