Community centre plan for disused pub
PLANS to use a derelict pub as a community centre have been submitted to Rotherham Borough Council.
Martial arts teacher Carl Towriss says the Green Lane Tavern, Rawmarsh, would be ideal for use as a martial arts and dance centre and could also be used by pensioners,children and as a community centre.
Consultation ends on April 26 and a decision is expected to be made by Rotherham Borough Council at the end of May.
