Colleagues walk for Rotherham Hospice in memory of David

FRIENDS and colleagues will take part in a sponsored walk in memory of their former workmate this weekend.

Staff from St Bernard’s RC High School will join relatives of their late colleague, David Grindle, who worked in the school’s kitchen, in a five-mile walk to raise money for the Rotherham Hospice.

David died at the hospice last month after falling ill in March.

Walk organiser Denise Glossop said that the walkers would set off from the school at 10.30a Sunday and head to Clifton Park, where they will complete three laps of the park before returning to St Bernard’s.

Denise asked that anyone wanting to make their own donation in David’s memory give the money straight to the hospice.
