Cocktails in the care home after staff create on-site pub
The Hollow Arms was launched at Moorgate Hollow care home so those living there, many of whom have dementia, can have a catch-up and a gossip-over a drink.
As punters around the country enjoyed the easing of lockdown, the common room at the home was transformed.

Hide AdLyn Pilkington, care home manager, said: “The Hollow Arms was a great idea thought up by our deputy manager Leigh Ann, who wanted to provide residents with a social experience that mirrored one of our residents' favourite activities, going to the pub.
“Our residents love coming along to the Hollow Arms for a pint or a gin and tonic, some great atmosphere and a gossip with their friends.
“It’s been a real home away from home experience for them.”
