ANIMAL lover Abigail Carter is holding a fundraising event this weekend (May 23) so she can carry out voluntary work with endangered species in Madagascar.

Abigail (25), who works at the Tropical Butterfly House in North Anston, is taking six weeks’ unpaid leave from her job to journey to the island in the Indian Ocean in September.

The fundraiser – on the theme of The Circus and called Cirque De Madagascar – will take place on Saturday from 7pm to midnight at the Pitches on Wickersley Road, Stag.
