Chris goes Bonkaz for new Sky TV show
MULTI-TALENTED Rotherham man Chris Clegg has landed a job presenting the news on a Sky TV channel which was launched this week.
Former Swinton Comprehensive School student Chris (29) is one of the new faces of Bonkaz Worldwide, an entertainment variety channel.

Hide AdChris, of Swinton, will be anchoring Bonkaz Headline News which is billed as an ironic look at current affairs.
The channel went live last week and will be broadcast in the UK, USA and the Caribbean. Chris will begin filming Bonkaz Headline News this week.
Chris said: “I am really excited about my new job. I had to go through rigorous auditions, fending off 1,800 other hopefuls and I hope this is the start of my new career."
Chris showcased his singing abilities when he won the Denise Van Outen- fronted karaoke show Who dares, Sings! in 2008. It was as a result of this taste of fame, that Chris pursued a career in front of the camera.

Hide AdThe 29-year-old narrowly missed out on the job replacing Carol Vorderman on Channel 4s Countdown for which he was screen-tested but pipped at the post by Rachel Riley.
He has also acted in BBC series Hustle, Doctors and ITV's Odd One In along with a stint presenting bingo on Sky.
He was one round away from singing for the judges at this year's X Factor auditions.
During the day, Chris works as a teaching consultant Nottingham but his family still live in Rotherham where they will be gathering together to watch his first show .
“The show itself is filmed in studios in Nottingham which is great for me as I've been travelling all over the UK for auditions/gigs.”
