Child sexual exploitation arrest

A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an investigation into allegations of historical child sexual exploitation in Rotherham.

The arrest was made on Monday in the Rotherham area.

The 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of indecent assault and rape of a female under 16.

He was questioned by detectives and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
