Child sex abuse suspect remanded in custody

MAGISTRATES have remanded a man in custody after he was charged with a string of child sex exploitation offences.

Bannaras Hussain (35) appeared in court in Rotherham on Wednesday morning (10) on 22 alleged offences between 1998 and 2002.

He is accused of offences including three rapes, four counts of aiding and abetting rape, nine indecent assaults and four counts of procuring a woman for prostitution.

Hussain, of Bridge Close in Goole, was remanded to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on June 24.

His brother Sageer Hussain (29), of the same address, has been summoned to Rotherham Magistrates’ Court on July 9 for four counts of raping an underage girl in 2003.
