Chance for businesses to meet college contractors

A BUSINESS networking event will give companies the chance to speak directly to the main contractors for a major college redevelopment.

Representatives from Miller construction, the company behind Rotherham College of Arts and Technology’s new campus, will be available at the drop-in event on November 26.

Rotherham Borough Council staff will also be on hand at the Town Hall event from 9am until 2pm.

Cllr Darren Hughes has organised the free event which he described as a “rare opportunity.”

He said: “This session will give you the opportunity to show what services your companies provide and to find out what tendering opportunities may be available for your company.

“There will also be an opportunity to speak directly to officers of the borough council with responsibility for procurement and commissioning services.”
