Challenges galore for brave Chad
Chad, from Maltby, performed the “full monty” at a charity night in February, jumped out of a plane last month and is now preparing for a day of hard walking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.
It’s all in aid of the Rotherham Hospice, where Chad’s mum Karen and grandad Roy Tinkler spent their final days.

“I wanted to run a raffle at a charity and the promoter, Rob Jones, suggested I do the full monty on the night,” Chad said.
“I roped in three mates — Adam Wells, Ian Watson and Shaun Everitt — and we did our best to the original Tom Jones song (You Can Leave Your Hat On).
“We were all a bit nervous but we had a couple of drinks and I think we did all enjoy ourselves.”

Explaining the reasons for his triple challenge, he added: “It’s a good way for to me to keep my mum and grandad’s memory alive.
“The people at the hospice are amazing and helped me a lot when my mum passed away.
“I am still grateful and know how highly people value the hospice.

It’s not the first time Chad has signed up for the Three Peaks challenge, having joined his uncle Anthony and cousin Robert on the walk five years ago.
And not content with his trio of challenges, Chad is keen to do more, adding: “If I can raise £2,000 I will be cycling to France from London for the hospice, too.”
