CCTV issued as police hunt handbag snatcher

Officers want to speak to the man caught on camera after a woman had her handbag snatched away from her wheile walking along Howard Street at around 1.45am on November 11.

In the incident, the 52-year-old woman was approached by an unknown man who asked her for the time.

He then grabbed her handbag and ran off from the scene.

The woman was not injured during the incident.

Police believe the man on the CCTV image could hold vital information and are appealing for anyone who recognises him to get in touch.
