Cat nap on engine spells danger for Mia

A CAT has made a miraculous recovery after being rescued from the engine of a van where it had gone to keep warm.

Ginger-and-white female Mia became trapped  when the engine was started .

But two RSPCA inspectors fought for more than an hour to free her from the vehicle in Challenger Crescent, Thurnscoe.

Mia was badly injured and a leg had to be amputated, but the lucky moggy is now said to be recovering.
