Cash available for coalfield community groups
COMMUNITY groups are being invited to dig into a £500,000 cash pot aimed at helping former coalfield areas.
The Coalfields Regeneration Trust has announced the launch of the new fund in support of its Coalfields Community Investment Programme in England.
The programme will provide community organisations that can demonstrate how the investments will be used to impact on these areas with up to £10,000 per application.
The first decision-making panel will meet in April.
