Cash and iPhone stolen in "nasty and aggressive" burglary

The gang wore dark clothing and scarves over their faces in the early-hours aggravated burglary in Clifton.

They threatened the residents and stole cash and an iPhone before fleeing the house in Oxford Street. 

The injured man suffered cuts to his face and mouth.

Det Sgt Graham Stead said: “This was a nasty and aggressive attack that has caused the family significant distress.

“We are working with them to offer support and reassurance. An investigation is under way and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 40 of February 10 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
