Car and pick-up truck torched by arsonists

Firefighters were called to a Ford Focus which had been set alight on Beresford Road, Maltby, at around 11.20pm on Saturday.

Crews also spent half-an-hour tackling a pick-up truck blaze which was started deliberately on Silverdales, Dinnington.

They were called at around 5.45am on Saturday and spent half-an-hour tackling the fire.

A tumble dryer caught fire at a property on Oates Close, Thornhill on Saturday.

Crews spent around an hour at the scene.

A garden fire spread to fencing at a property on Pine Close, Sunnyside, at around 9.05pm on Sunday.

A crew was also called to grill pan fire on Sorby Road, Swallownest at around 7.50pm on Saturday but it was out on arrival.
